  • Film-forming blowing agent for firefighting SOFIR AFFF
Film-forming blowing agent SOFIR (SOFIRAFFF and AFFFAR). TU U 24.6-32440539-005: 2012 1. Film-forming blowing agent SOFIR (SOFIRAFFF6%) for sea and fresh water (certificate of conformity UA1.166.0137692-12). SOFIR AFFF is a synthetic film-forming blowing agent, consisting of a combination of fluorinated and hydrocarbon surfactants, as well as stabilizing components. Extinguishing of fires occurs due to the formation of foam film, which spreads quickly on the burning surface, thereby allowing localizing and extinguishing the fire in a short time. If the film is damaged (mechanically, gusts of wind), re-ignition does not occur, since the film is restored. SOFIR AFFF is used to extinguish fires of Class A (subclass A1 and A2) and B (subclass B1) to produce air-mechanical foam of high, medium, low multiplicity. It does not react to water hardness; it can be used with fresh, marine, and recycled water. Blowing agent SOFIR AFFF is characterized by increased fire-extinguishing ability, used for: - sub layer quenching of oil and oil products in tanks and tank farms - Firefighting on ships and coastal objects - Volumetric quenching at petrochemical plants - At airports and other high-risk sites. The working concentration of the SOFIR AFFF blowing agent is 6%. SOFIR AFFF is non-toxic, is biodegradable product, anti-corrosion, can be used with regular trunks and mixers.    Specifications:

2. Film-forming, alcohol-resistant blowing agent SOFIR (SOFIRAFFFAR 6%) for sea and fresh water (certificate of conformity UA1.166.0137665-12). SOFIR AFFF AR is a synthetic alcohol-resistant film-forming blowing agent for special purposes. It is used for extinguishing fires of classes A and B, including subclass B2 (quenching of water-soluble and water-insoluble flammable liquids). Can be used for extinguishing - hydrocarbons (gasoline, oil, kerosene, fuel) - Polar liquids (alcohol, etc.) When extinguishing class B fires, it is applied by burning liquid layer and under-layer extinguishing. Quenching occurs due to formation on the burning surface of the water film, which prevents access to oxygen, re-ignition does not occur. For the preparation of the solution of fresh and sea water can be used (including high hardness). SOFIR AFFF AR is non-toxic, is biodegradable product, anti-corrosion, can be used with regular trunks and mixers. The working concentration of SOFIR AFFF AR foaming agent is 6%.
